The Vendor is required to provide strategic master planning (SMP) services, including all requisite research and a community needs and opportunities assessment (CNA).
- provide expertise in assessing the current operation and diverse community needs, collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and recommending actionable strategies to inform the Planetarium’s future, location, size, programs, exhibits, and outreach efforts.
- Conduct a CNA to gain insights into the interests, preferences, opportunities and barriers faced by current and potential audiences, service levels, and institutional presence.
- Produce a SMP leveraging the work performed in the CNA to inform the process, methodology, and focus of the SMP to map an informed path forward.
- Master Plan shall include a probable cost estimate for proposed work for all costs.
- Provide detailed cost estimates for each phase of proposed work to include the schedule, and the closeout time required for each phase of proposed work along with costs associated for the closeout time.
- Master Plan expected deliverables:
• Preliminary CNA documents, data, and analysis
• Final CNA planning document and prepared data/reports
• Preliminary SMP planning documents, data, and analysis
• Final SMP planning document and prepared data/reports
• Programmatic response
• Executive summary for both CNA and SMP
• Power point presentation for fundraising and support purposes.
• Renderings and additional materials and media for use in communications, fundraising, and support.
• Proposer will assist county in developing materials and presenting to appropriate stakeholders throughout the project.
• This includes developing and producing presentation materials, renderings, drawings, etc.
• Provide at proposer’s own cost, printing or production of any project documents, records, communications, drawings, booklets, renderings, presentation materials, and miscellaneous documentation.
