The Vendor is required to provide to partner with a company to develop a business process analysis, robotic process automation (RPA), software development, and reports/analytics/business intelligence.
- Objective:

- Business process analysis (BPA)
• Provide services around business process analysis (BPA) which is a systematic approach for understanding, evaluating, and improving business processes.
• BPA deliverables could include but are not limited to process maps/diagrams, flowcharts, requirements, gap analysis, stakeholder analysis, implementation strategies/approach, roi and cost/benefit analysis, and others.
• BPA analysis should also result in a recommendation(s) based on roi and cost/benefit analysis which could include but is not limited to robotic process automation (RPA), custom software development, reports/dashboard, process improvements, etc.
• Provide a set of guidelines for determining when to use RPA vs. custom software development.
• District has an internal software development team that has experience with full stack development, RPA, and report/dashboard building with microdot’s power bi.
• BPA performed by the vendor may result in RPA or custom software development being done by district internal software development team so the vendor BPA team would need to ensure proper turnover of documentation and be available through development process as needed.
• District is interested in developing internal BPA skillsets.
• District may request BPA consulting guidance on internal BPA efforts.
- Robotic process automation (RPA) assessment and development requirements
• Must have experience and resources for developing and deploying robotic process automation (RPA) using Microsoft’s suite of RPA tools.
• Must have a suite of best practices around securing RPA projects to protect district data and users.
• RPA efforts must use district 365 cloud unless otherwise specified and agreed upon with district
IT.
• District is interested in developing internal RPA skillsets on our internal software development team therefore district may request RPA consulting guidance on internal RPA efforts.
- Custom software development
• Must be able to provide custom full stack software development.
• Must utilize best practices regarding secure application development.
• Software development team must have expert level experience with c#, asp.net, SQL server, .net core, MVC framework, stored procedures, database objects, SSMS tool, API/web service, razor/blazor, JavaScript, and azure DevOps.
• Preference given to vendors that also have expert level experience with the following GIS development toolset: ArcGIS enterprise SDK 10.9.1, ArcGIS maps SDK for JavaScript 4.31, calcite design system 2.13, ArcGIS pro SDK version 3.2.1, ARCPY, ArcGIS API for python.
• All application architectures, libraries, languages, databases, etc. must be approved by district it.
• Must have experience with deploying web applications that are usable across multiple screen sizes including mobile phones, tablets, laptops, or desktop monitors.
• Must be able to provide consulting guidance on application architecture, technology roadmaps, tools, and projects as needed.
• This may include a process for peer review of designs, code, etc.
• We are interested in architects that can provide guidance on custom software development projects or to provide guidance on our software development architecture, roadmaps, and environment.
- Reporting and dashboards
• Must be able to develop reports and dashboards using Microsoft’s power bi suite of tools.
• District o365 cloud will be utilized unless otherwise agreed upon with district it.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) development must be done with agreed upon tools with district it.
• District it typically chooses to write ETL processes using c# or stored procedures since the team has a depth of expertise with c#.
• District it and the district business unit has some internal expertise with power bi.
• We may require consulting guidance from the vendor on some of these efforts.
- Warranty support
• District expects that all vendor deployments for RPA, custom software development, and reporting/dashboards will include post-deployment warranty support.
• The length of post-deployment warranty support will be determined based on size, complexity, and impact of the deployment and the length should be defined in the statement of work (sow) for deployment.
- Post warranty support options
• Please provide support options for RPA, custom software development, and reporting/dashboards.
• district support needs are not known at this time, but we’d like the option to purchase support either through time and materials or through one of the vendor’s support plans if they are a good fit.
• Provide their various support plans for us to review.
