The vendor is required to provide that strategic planning professional development (PD) services for district leaders, building leaders, coordinators, and teacher leaders.
- PD is to develop skills and knowledge around district strategic planning to ensure alignment with our district’s vision, priorities, and improvement efforts.
- Vendor will design and implement professional learning experiences that will:
• Equip leaders with strategic planning frameworks to guide decision-making at the district and school levels.
• Enhance understanding of data-driven decision-making and its role in continuous improvement.
• Develop leadership capacity to align instructional priorities with district goals and initiatives.
• Strengthen collaboration among district and school-based leaders to ensure a shared vision for student success.
• Provide tools and strategies for effective implementation and monitoring of strategic plans.
- Professional development sessions:
• A series of 5-10 training sessions offered in a mix of in-person and virtual formats based on district needs.
• Training sessions should include interactive, application-based learning experiences for leaders.
• Opportunities for case studies, action planning, and real-world application of strategic planning concepts.
- Customized content & materials
• Professional learning content must align with town priorities and initiatives.
• Development of training materials, including guides, templates, and tools to support leaders in strategic planning efforts.
• Integration of evidence-based best practices in educational leadership and strategic planning.
- Coaching and follow-up support (optional)
• provide leadership coaching or consultation for key stakeholders as they apply learning to their work.
• Support teams in developing action steps for implementing strategic planning practices in their schools and departments.
