The vendor is required to provide the custodial services required for district covering multiple facilities, including elementary, middle, and high schools, administrative buildings, and other educational facilities.
- Provide professional cleaning and maintenance services to ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

- Daily services
• Trash removal: empty all waste bins and replace liners as needed. remove trash to designated disposal areas.
• Sweeping and mopping: sweep and mop all hard floors, including classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and entryways. ensure floor surfaces are clean and free from debris.
• Vacuuming: vacuum all carpeted areas, including classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Restroom cleaning:
o Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals, and restroom stalls.
o Clean and disinfect restroom floors and walls thoroughly.
o Replenish toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
o Clean mirrors and restroom partitions.
o Ensure floors are clean and dry.
• Surface cleaning: wipe and disinfect desks, tables, chairs, countertops, door handles, and light switches.
• Cafeteria cleaning: clean tables, chairs, and floors in cafeteria areas after each meal service. dispose of food waste appropriately.
• Sanitation: provide daily sanitation of high-touch surfaces (e.g., doorknobs, light switches, water fountains).
- Weekly services
• Tile floors: scrub and burnish tile floors.
• Dusting: dust window sills, ledges, vents, and other surfaces that may accumulate dirt.
• Spot cleaning carpets: spot clean carpets in areas that experience heavy usage or visible stains.
- Personnel requirements
• Staffing levels: the contractor must provide an adequate number of trained custodial staff to meet the demands of each facility, including temporary staffing when required due to absences, seasonal demands, or special events.
• Temporary staffing:
o The contractor should have a pool of qualified temporary workers available on-call, for immediate placement to ensure no disruption of services.
o Temporary staff must adhere to all personnel requirements outlined in this document, including uniform and conduct standards.
• Uniforms and appearance
o No-slip shoes to ensure safety in wet or slippery conditions.
o No shorts are allowed; long pants or appropriate work trousers must be worn at all times.
o The uniform must be clean, well-maintained, and professional in appearance.
o All custodial staff, including temporary workers, must wear identifiable uniforms provided by the contractor.
• Vendor’s representative:
o The vendor should designate at least one individual who should be available to the district custodial services manager 24 hours a day for purposes of receiving reports of problems, requesting schedule changes, remediating any issues from previous night’s work etc.
o This individual should be someone other than the site-based team leader and he/she should be the sole contact person for routine matters.
