• By seeking input and consultation with staff, the winning proposer will provide several designs of the home page and interior pages for the village to evaluate.
• The designs will incorporate colors, text, fonts, photography, iconography, graphics, and layouts.
• Create custom graphics as necessary.
• Provide recommendations about content layout and organization.
• Use menus, submenus, headers, footers, and navigation effectively.
• Provide page templates and design standards.

• Construct the website using existing and new content.
• Consider best practices for municipal sites regarding layout, organization, and navigation.
• Consult with village departments for the content of each department.

• The proposed website shall be desktop and mobile-friendly across a variety of resolutions.
• The website shall be compatible with all popular, modern browsers, including chrome, edge, safari, and Firefox.
• The website shall support multiple language functionality.
• The proposed website shall support modern SEO practices.
- Content management system
• Provide a modern and flexible content management system for the village to maintain, update, and develop the website.
• Provide details on the user sign on options, user limits, system capabilities (i.e., what can the village may maintain versus vendor-managed), and licensing requirements for content management systems.
• The winning proposer shall provide training on the content management system before site go-live.
- Integrations
• The proposed website shall support html content embedding.
- Website modules
• In addition to text and image pages, the village’s current website modules include news posts, document storage/sort/filter/retrieval, multiple event calendars, search, and forms.
• Additional functionality has been accomplished through 3rd - party embedded content.
• The winning proposer shall provide web modules to accomplish the presentation of content to its audience.
• The village is interested in the breadth and capabilities of other module functions of the proposer’s solution (e.g. social feeds, galleries, directories).
• The proposer shall describe their ability to customize modules to fit the village’s goals.
