The vendor is required to provide to maintain our leadership in this critical area, it is imperative that we acquire advanced picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and a radiology information system (RIS) to facilitate clinical service delivery, teaching, and resident training.
- The existing solution presents the following challenges:
• Historical cases are not retrievable
• Slow image transfer for timely patient decision making
• Slow image transfer to view and report
• Report templates need debugging
• Keyword search function not capable
• Automated feedback loop to residents of changes to reporting does not exist
• Integration with our hospital information system EzyVet
• Lack of hanging protocols
• Lack of adequate MPR functionality
