The vendor is required to provide the SCADA system radio upgrade throughout the city, to be undertaken is generally described as, but not limited to, the following:
• Supply and install approximately 19 APRISA 4rf radios (400mhz). site radios, repeater, and base unit at jack kraft.
• Bench test radio configuration prior to implementation (including site survey of existing radio network, benching test of new radios)
• Perform RSSI measurements to determine if ethernet communications can be implemented.
• Master plc programming communication via mb TCP to all sites.
- The existing radio network is to be kept operational whilst upgrades to APRISA 4rf series radios (or equivalent) occur at each respective site
- The radios will be installed in 2 stages: - stage 1: straight upgrade and swap out of the MDS radios to APRISA in serial mode. repairs or bypassing as needed for the hospital repeater node. - stage 2: after the SCADA is online, operational RSSI measurements will be taken to determine repairs/upgrades needed to move to ethernet communications.
- The radios are converted to ethernet the master plc will be reprogrammed to communicate via MBTCP to all remote sites.
