The Vendor is required to provide payroll administration database software and services for agency.
- Payroll services must be capable of calculating each employee’s gross wages based on either hours entered at the applicable rate, flat amount or special calculation, and must be able to subtract statutory deductions, taxes and employee voluntary deductions in determining net wages.
- Payroll services must also maintain all federal, state and local tax table information to ensure proper calculation and withholding of employee taxes.
- Payroll system must be capable of calculating state, state health benefits employee contributions, public employees’ retirement system employee contributions, and group life insurance employee contributions.
- Payroll services must have the capability to have secure online employee time tracking.
- Payroll services must be compatible with and be able to integrate with Oracle PeopleSoft.
- Payroll system must have the ability to process special payrolls on demand.
- Payroll services must have direct deposit available.
- Must have the capability to print group designated signature on payroll checks automatically, and to deliver those payroll checks signed and sealed to ensure confidentiality.
- Must produce and send reconciliation registers in an agreed-upon format for verification purposes.
