The Vendor is required to provide information on modern, comprehensive asset and maintenance management systems (AMMS), also known as enterprise asset management (EAM) systems.
- Provides essential mobility services to its community, relying on a suite of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to manage its complex daily operations.
- This operational environment is characterized by significant inefficiencies, including manual data transfers, a lack of real-time data synchronization, and system silos that disconnect maintenance activities from vehicle diagnostic and other agency functions.
- Key challenges include an error-prone daily fuel/mileage import process, insufficient warranty tracking leading to lost cost recovery opportunities, and a lack of mobile tools for technicians on the shop floor.
- Transit Technology Review, Evaluation, and Acquisition Plan and more recently a Current State and Concept of Operations for three core systems including Computer Aided Dispatch / Automated Vehicle Location (CAD/AVL), Finance, Payroll, and HRIS as well as their Asset Management & Maintenance Systems (AMMS).
- A system that can:
• Provide a comprehensive and integrated AMMS to manage the entire lifecycle of fleet (vehicles and onboard equipment) and facility (buildings, passenger shelters, bus stops) assets.
• Automate the generation of work orders from various sources, including real-time vehicle diagnostic codes, pre-trip inspection failures (from CAD/AVL), and scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) triggers.
• Provide a modern, intuitive, mobile-friendly user interface for maintenance technicians and foremen to manage work orders, track labor, and issue parts directly from the shop floor.
• Offer robust, real-time inventory management with automated reordering, barcode/scanner support, and seamless integration with procurement and financial systems for accurate costing.
• Automate the daily import of fuel and mileage data from systems like fleet watch and provide a method for tracking consumption of fluids and fuels like oil and compressed natural gas (CNG).
• Deliver robust warranty tracking capabilities to identify warrantable parts and manage claims, ensuring agency maximizes cost recovery opportunities.
• Provide powerful reporting and analytics dashboards for tracking key performance indicators such as cost-per-mile, pm compliance, asset uptime, and inventory valuation.
• Integrate with other existing and future systems (e.g. CAD/AVL, finance/payroll) via a modern
• Application programming interface (API) to create a unified operational environment.
