The vendor is required to provide course credit transfer tool for university.
- The course credit transfer tool is a tool allows students to enter course credits received from institutions that they have attended, be able to see a grouping of colleges that will tentatively accept the credit entered and the number of credits that are tentatively accepted, then be able to choose the institutions that they are interested in to further review how each course has been accepted or denied.
- Multi-institutional functionality
• Each institution will have access to add, update, or inactivate course data its own data through security protocols. (System administration will have the same access to all institution data.)
• The course data includes institutional course catalogs and course articulation data
• No student data will belong to an institution.
• Student data will remain centralized. (If the student chooses to allow data to be sent to institutions it will only be allowed through reporting or through a connection (optional purchase by institution) to the institution’s system.
• The user interface for the student will show multiple institution information upon completion of entry by the student of courses they have taken at other institutions.
• A system administrator will have access to each institution’s data to help with uploading data.
• A system administrator will only have access to student data for reporting purposes

• The student will be able to select an institution from a predefined drop-down list of institutions available to use for courses that they have already taken.
• Once the student chooses the institution, they will be able to choose other information about the course.
o To enter a course from the institution they’ve chosen, the student will enter a course abbreviation and number or a course title for searching.
o A drop-down list will produce a list of the courses to choose.
o The add button.
o The student will have the option from the drop-down list to choose more than one course at a time.
o Conversely, the student will remove a course by choosing a delete button for the course that has already been chosen.
o All courses chosen will be shown on the screen as separate items
• Once the student has completed the addition of courses the student will be able to enter a term and grade they made for the course.
o A term code and grade code field will follow the course title.
o The student will have the option to choose to enter a term code.
o The student will click on the grade code field if they have chosen a term.
o the grade code field should offer a drop-down list of grades from the chosen institution for the student to add.
o If a term is entered but the grade is left blank a message should appear that states that the grade must be entered.
• After the student finishes entering the courses, the student should be given the opportunity to save their data.
o If the student chooses to save their course data, they will press a save button that will then ask if they already have an account or if they need to create an account.
o Once the student has signed-in, the data will be saved.
• The student will be able to choose to click on an evaluation button.
o Once clicked, the student will see a list (tile view) of all campuses that will accept the credit.
o The list will include the institution logo that will have a behind-the-scenes link to a website chosen by the institution
o The logo should be the number of courses or credits that will be accepted at that institution.
o There will be an option with each institution to further evaluate requirements.
o The student will have the option to click on 1 to 5 institutions to see a side-by-side comparison of the transfer analysis of their course work to the corresponding courses at the destination institution.
o Any requirements or restrictions regarding the work will also show.
o For courses that do not have any articulation information there should be messages such as:
1. Grade requirement for acceptance of transfer credit was not met.
2. Institution shows no equivalence for this data.
3. Contact institution for more information.
o The student should be able navigate back to the evaluation page to choose a different set of institutions.
