The vendor required to provide uninterruptible power supply (ups) system equivalent to or better than a 10 KVA/9 kw online double-conversion ups with an optional external maintenance bypass cabinet.
- Requirements:
• Ups capacity: 10 KVA/9 kw minimum
• Voltage: 220v single-phase
• Design: online double-conversion with true sine wave output
• Runtime: minimum 15–16 minutes at full load
• Input power factor: ≥ 0.99
• Recharge time: ≤ 6 hours to 90% capacity
• Redundancy: non-redundant configuration, hot-swappable modules for maximum flexibility
• Display: lcd interface with mimic diagram, digital metering, event logging, and customizable alarm setpoints
• Network interface: SNMP, MODBUS, or BACNET for integration with building management systems
• Compliance: ul 1778 (latest edition), CUL listed, WEEE, reach, and ROHS compliant.
- Optional and accessory equipment:
• External maintenance bypass cabinet, rated ≥ 15 KVA, ul listed
• Wall-mounted with isolating switch, terminal blocks for hardwired input and output, spring-loaded high-speed manual transfer switch, and lockout and tagout capability
- The contractor shall:
• Provide and deliver a complete ups system meeting or exceeding the specifications outlined in this document, including the ups equipment and optional maintenance bypass cabinet.
• Remove and properly dispose of the existing ups equipment, if requested by the county.
• Install the new ups and bypass cabinet, including all required electrical connections and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Perform startup, configuration, testing, and commissioning to ensure the equipment is fully operational and properly integrated with the site’s systems.
• Verify proper functionality of electrical connections, communications interfaces, network integration, and system alarms or monitoring features.
• Confirm compatibility with the existing site electrical infrastructure prior to installation.
• Include in the quote the lead time, delivery method, and total cost (equipment plus installation).
• Ensure all work complies with applicable NFPA, NEC, and local electrical codes.
