The Vendor is required to provide design, develop, and implement Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for software integration to enable seamless data exchange between existing systems.
- This engagement is to create a secure, reliable, and automated data bridge between multiple key City systems and its enterprise financial management software, Tyler Technologies MUNIS Enterprise Resource Program (Finance, HRIS, and Payroll).
- Project includes, but is not limited to, integrating the following platforms: ProjectMates (capital project management), org central (website CMS), cornerstone LMS (learning management), empower 457 (retirement plan management), neogov (human resources management), Telestaff (public safety scheduling), origami risk (risk management), and PlanSource (benefits administration).
- Responsible for delivering a complete, turn-key solution.
- This includes all project phases: discovery and requirements analysis, system architecture and design, API development and testing, production deployment, comprehensive documentation, City staff training, and a post-implementation warranty and support period.
- Data Integrity: To eliminate the risk of manual data entry errors, ensuring absolute consistency between the financial data in the project management system and the City's official financial system of record.
- Efficiency: To significantly reduce the staff hours and manual effort required to process invoices and post job openings, thereby accelerating the entire payment lifecycle and freeing up valuable City resources for higher-value analytical and administrative tasks.
- Financial Visibility: To provide City project managers with near real-time visibility of the status of their project invoices (e.g., "Voucher Created," "Paid," "Check Number," "Payment Date") directly within the ProjectMates user interface, where they perform their daily work.
- API Design, Development, and Deployment:
• Design a secure, scalable API architecture, including necessary middleware.
• Develop the API middleware application/service for the ProjectMates to MUNIS connection.
• Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, UAT).
• Deploy the solution into the production environment.
- Documentation, Training, and Warranty:
• Provide detailed technical and user documentation for the ProjectMates integration.
• Conduct formal training sessions for IT and business users.
• Provide a minimum 90-day warranty period for this specific integration.
- Assess system architectures and analyze API documentation for these platforms.
