LMS and Curriculum Development System

The Vendor is required to provide for the development of an LMS and its included training modules, as well as corresponding instructor led training (ILT) on low and zero emission vehicle training that can be implemented across multiple transit agencies.
- Competitive Energy was established to remove silos between transit agencies, share resources, and develop a standardized training program that can be applied to any agency to prepare their maintenance workers and technicians for alternative technologies.
- The team is researching the needs of every participating agency and developing a baseline of where all the agencies are in regard to alternative fuel training.
- This data will be used to inform the curriculum needs and functionality requirements of an LMS platform so every agency has their needs met.
- An LMS is going to be needed to coordinate e-Learning and ILT across transit agencies of varying sizes.
- The goal is for an LMS to be able to track users across different agencies, coordinate trainings occurring at different agencies, and deliver eLearning and virtual instructor led training (VILT).
