The vendor required to provide eLearning solutions to improve training opportunities for students, faculty, and staff throughout its institutions.
- Key functionality
•    Extensive content library offering a diverse selection of topics, such as foundational business concepts, leadership development, personal growth, project management, and software proficiency. 
•    Content should be regularly updated and refreshed.
•    The platform must support hosting or linking both internal and third-party content.
•    Administrators or supervisors must be able to assign content to users.
- Desired content
•    The platform should offer compliance training relevant to higher education. 
•    Cybersecurity training modules should be included.
- Reporting capabilities
•    The platform must provide robust learner progress and performance reporting.
•    It should track individual and group progress, showing who has started, is in progress, or has completed courses.
•    Assessment and quiz results must be reportable, including scores, correct and incorrect answers, and question-level analysis to identify knowledge gaps. 
•    Completion data should be tracked, with records maintained for each user’s training transcript. 
•    Certification tracking must be available, including issuance, expiration dates, and compliance and professional development records.
- Administrative and system reporting
•    Compliance reporting features must support regulatory requirements, such as mandatory training completion for audits.
•    System usage metrics should include login frequency, average time spent in courses, and overall activity to measure engagement. 
•    Data export and sharing capabilities must allow reports to be exported in common formats (excel, pdf, word) for analysis and distribution.
- Integrations and auto-mations
•    The solution should offer API integration and pre-built connectors for ERP and HCM systems, including oracle cloud, PeopleSoft, and workday. 
•    Integration with cloud-based collaboration platforms, such as microsoft teams.
•    Automated communications and updates should be supported for designated individuals.
