The Vendor is required to provide and install a complete portable active floor interactive learning system and associated software for designated school sites.
- Provide to procure and implement a high-quality, interactive learning floor system that enhances student engagement and supports movement-based learning across multiple instructional settings within the district.
- This initiative aims to:
• Enhance student engagement – provide an innovative, interactive platform that increases participation, focus, and motivation among students through physical activity and collaboration.
• Support instructional goals – align the active floor system’s educational content and activities with the State College- and career-ready standards to reinforce classroom learning objectives.
• Promote inclusive learning – offer accessible, differentiated activities suitable for all grade levels and abilities, supporting diverse learners across general and special education programs.
• Encourage physical activity – integrate movement and exercise into academic lessons to promote student wellness and support whole-child development.
• Provide sustainable technology integration – ensure the system integrates with existing district technology infrastructure, is easy to maintain, and includes training and support to ensure long-term instructional use.
• Maximize district investment – achieve the best overall value for the district through a competitive, fair, and transparent procurement process that considers both cost and quality factors.
- The intent is to procure a turnkey solution that enhances student engagement, promotes physical activity, and integrates interactive digital content aligned with the district’s instructional objectives.
- System shall meet or exceed the following minimum requirements:
• Interactive projection-based floor with multi-touch motion sensing capability.
• Minimum active area of 8 ft x 10 ft with adjustable projection coverage.
• High-lumen short-throw projector suitable for ambient-light environments.
• Integrated motion tracking sensors (infrared or camera-based) supporting multiple users simultaneously.
• Software suite with access to educational games, physical activities, and customizable lesson creation.
• Cloud-based or locally hosted software options with administrative controls.
• Network connectivity supporting secure integration with district Wi-Fi and content filtering.
• Durable, non-slip floor surface rated for school and gym environments.
• System power requirements compliant with standard 120V AC outlets.
• One-year minimum manufacturer’s warranty on all components.
