The Vendor is required to provide training services in leadership development, communication, change management, restorative justice, mediation, and other Workforce Development (WFD) support as part of an ongoing commitment to strengthening its organizational capacity.
- The project aims to:
• Support department staff in growing proficiency in the prioritized organizational wide and job specific competencies.
• Strengthen leadership skills and strategic thinking across department.
• Equip staff with effective communication tools for internal and external relationship building and collaboration.
• Develop change management skills to ensure smooth organizational transitions.
• Create a supportive and trusting environment for all employees of department.
• Provide ongoing WFD support to meet evolving needs of the organization.
- Leadership Development
• Development of leadership skills for staff at various levels (from emerging leaders to senior management), including strategic thinking, decision-making, and fostering a supportive and equitable work culture.
- Communication Skills
• Training on effective communication techniques for public health professionals, including both internal communication with teams and external communication with community stakeholders.
- Change Management
• Support for leadership in navigating organizational change, including planning and implementation of change initiatives while maintaining employee engagement and morale.
- Restorative Justice Practice in the Workplace
• Support in development of restorative justice practices in the workplace including planning, implementation and training.
- Mediation Training
• Certification of members of human resources to train mediation skills to employees of department.
- Ad Hoc Workforce Development Training
• As department needs evolve, the contractor will provide additional training modules and resources to support specific workforce development goals, including but not limited to decision-making, and emotional intelligence.
