•    As data storage needs continues to grow exponentially, the mis department is weighing the benefits of on-prem vs. cloud-based storage solutions. 
•    A conservative approach to cloud-based storage and backup needs to be examined for scalability and to reduce the cost and maintenance of on-prem computing and backup. 
•    The department also has the desire to move more fully into a zero-trust environment as more public access and mobile devices are allowed. 
•    Security and threat vulnerability on a more mobile environment is always a priority. 
•    AI for service delivery (chatbot or virtual assistant), and data analysis. 
•    Upgrade of the town-based telephone system (on-prem).
•    Consideration must be given to upgrading on-prem or moving to cloud based (ring, etc.).
