Budgeting Software

The vendor required to provide budgeting software to enhance its finance, grants and business operations by purchasing a new budgeting platform.
- The new budgeting software will replace the current system use, which is a manual process completed in microsoft excel.
- Budgeting software solutions currently available in the market, with a particular interest in leveraging modern software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms.
- Objectives
•    Replace agency use of multiple excel spreadsheets (preferable SaaS or cloud-based)
•    Import and convert historical excel data into the new system
•    Provide a detailed implementation and training plan
•    Seamless and reliable integration with existing agency systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, asset works, or trans track)
•    Maintenance and service agreements to ensure reliable performance, timely updates, and enhancements
•    Provide secure, SaaS or cloud-based back-office services
•    Deliver enterprise scalability to support future growth
•    The ability to offer unlimited user licenses
•    Ensure alignment with public-sector compliance and standards in line with county requirements.
•    Vendor must demonstrate recent government agency experience within the last 3-5 years
•    Solutions must be hosted in united states or country
•    Budgeting and forecasting solutions
o    In depth dashboards and comprehensive reporting
o    Automated data management
o    Multi-year budgeting, long-range financial planning (10, 20, 30 years), and scenario planning
o    Integrated budgeting capabilities between the capital and operating budgets
o    Ability to differentiate between funding sources
o    Centralized document management
o    Version tracking and change management features with full audit trails
o    Automated document routing, approval, and notification process
o    Capital project management tools including project request forms, project milestone reports
o    Integration with PeopleSoft, asset works, or trans track with the ability to import data monthly.
