The Vendor is required to provide a comprehensive, integrated software solution (“solution”) to operate and manage the state’s intelligent transportation system (ITS).
- Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS)—that will provide development, customization, enhancements, installation, deployment, integration, training, ongoing support, and annual maintenance.
- Manages a broad and growing network of ITS assets, including traffic cameras, dynamic and portable message signs (DMS/CMS), variable speed limit signs, traffic signals, and a statewide fiber optic communications network.
- ATMS functional requirements, such as:
• Real-time data
• Traveler information integration
• CCTV control and management
• Message sign control and management
• Operation and incident management capability
• SHEP portal
• System logging and data management
• User access management
• Ease of use for operators
• Customizable dashboards
• Map-based interfaces
• Workflow automation

- Platform meets detailed ATMS technical requirements, such as:
• Integration flexibility with existing ITS infrastructure
• Adaptability to future ITS Technologies
• Helpdesk support level (hours, response times, etc.)

• Warranty and maintenance coverage

• Support for applications
• Analytics
• Traffic modeling capabilities
• Open data portals
• Ability to adapt to future transportation technologies.
