The vendor required to provide application Linux to take over the hosting services for the php: hypertext preprocessor web application and data query tool, agency.
- Objectives
• Maintain regular backups and disaster recovery procedures for the site at all times.
• Maintain all existing hosting and infrastructure capabilities currently in place, ensuring no degradation in performance, security, or availability.
• Identify and recommend, as part of the initial design and project documentation, opportunities for enhancing scalability, reliability, and efficiency over time, noting where these are feasible and cost-effective.
• Provide professional guidance and assistance to state staff for general management and maintenance of the site.
- Provisioning and configuring a Linux-based server(s) or an equivalent solution optimized for hosting the agency data query portal in production and staging environments.
• Server hardware and network resources dedicated to hosting the agency data query tool and website must be sufficient to support the general public’s website use, such that the average external user would not notice any issues with the speed or responsiveness.
- Install, set up, and configure the agency data query portal, including a manageable database backend and php frontend.
• Provide a hosting environment for all required numeric data types for the agency data query tool to function.
• Provide the ability to host up to 1tb of data.
• Database is 50 GB with over 250 million record to include 25% of growth up to 1tb of data.
• Provide resources and capabilities for site corrections and updates.
• Provide the capacity and resources to handle agency requests to update the agency data query tool’s data upon request.
• Implement all required corrections, and updates to the php code and all related front-end assets in response to agency requests.
• Allow department staff the capability to house various informational pages (20) that disseminate links to resources and outside information.
• Provide the means for department to upload to the hosted database.
• Department staff will be responsible for pulling data from records database and uploading to vendor platform and database.
• Decode, load and perform calculation on data to be queried in the agency data query tool.
- Migration and transition:
• Responsible for fully migrating the existing application, associated files, and all relevant data from the current vendor’s environment to the new hosting environment provided by the awarded vendor.
• This includes coordinating with the outgoing vendor to obtain all necessary system components, performing a complete and secure data transfer, configuring and deploying the application in the new environment, and ensuring full functionality.
• Also perform any required integration, testing, and validation to confirm that the application is operating as expected post-migration.
• All services must be completed with minimal downtime and in accordance with agency security and continuity requirements.
