Planning and Scheduling Software

The vendor required to provide planning and scheduling software solution to streamline and facilitate the scheduling of courses, campus events, and predictive course schedule and demand functionality.
- Software capabilities
1. Schedule import
•    Software will connect with university’s student information system (banner) to import the set schedule for room assignments. 
•    Software will use the room optimizer to ensure that all spaces in the university are used at the best of their capacity.
2. Schedule export
•    Software will work in sync with banner for official room assignments and changes to prevent double-booking.
- Reports
•    Course offerings analysis: to include double bookings, low enrollment courses, overbooked rooms (sections). 
•    Daily grids of rooms and buildings used for specific dates. 
•    Room utilization: schedule by day and time, and by room and by building, for specific dates. 
•    Course demand: to include recommendations for building future term schedules.
