The Vendor is required to provide that are developers/manufacturers of project management information system (PMIS) solutions catered towards construction management.
- Business Systems team is responsible for administering and maintaining the PMIS. The team consists of 4 full‐time employees: A lead, a data analyst, a developer, and a technician.
- Looking for vendors whose software improves upon what Unifier provides, solving common pain points, while also giving access to modern reporting, User Interface (UI), and data management tools.
- Project Management
• Allow contractors to submit Information Requests, Daily Field Reports, Invoices, and Project
• Deliverables for review.
• Allow contractors enough access to the system to fulfill contractual responsibilities while maintaining data security for the owner.
• Link together related documents and records, such as Issues, Change Orders, and Correspondence etc.
• Create and maintain construction management review procedures that can accommodate different team structures for each contract.
• Have a system for version control for documents ‐‐ especially for drawings, so that field inspectors have the latest plans readily available.
• Encourage timely review and response times through a robust notification system.
• Maintain a file repository of all records and completed reviews that can be easily shared to third parties without PMIS access.
• Support processes formal departments, including finance, property acquisition, planning, human resources, procurement, contract administration and document control.
• Allow non‐P6 license holders to access schedule data within the PMIS system in a digestible format
- Reporting
• Organize earned value in the PMIS under a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that can vary by contract.
• Support reporting that can re‐organize earned value into different formats based on user queries.
• Create different reports based on user queries on project level and contract level
• Enable cyclical report generation
• Enable custom print layouts of data collected from PMIS forms
• Distill data into dashboards built into the PMIS or have integration with external dashboard apps such as Power BI
- Security and Data
• Maintain all correspondence, records, and other data related to the project for a minimum of ten years after project closure.
• Have all project data be exportable into digestible formats such as PDF, Word, Excel, etc.
• Have different security profiles per user that takes into account user Company, document being looked at, contract, etc.
