The Vendor is required to provide Off-the-shelf” (OTS) e-learning content and micro-learning tools will be used to provide high-quality e-learning instruction in general content areas where university-specific content and/or classroom interactions are not required.
- This will allow internal instructional design expertise and resources to focus on instructor-led courses and customized e-learning experiences.
- OTS e-learning should provide a wide variety of cost-effective and readily available training options that can be quickly deployed in curated pathways to support specific training needs while also being available for general browsing and informal use by university faculty and staff.
- Access to a wide variety of high-quality, accessible, e-learning courses in the following categories:
• Interpersonal Skills (conflict resolution, communication, collaboration, difficult conversations, etc.)
• Personal Productivity (time management, organization, planning skills, prioritization, etc.)
• MS Office and software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote, OneDrive, etc.)
• Professional skills (project management, change management, grant writing, business communication, etc.)
• Pre-defined learning paths to support commonly sought professional certifications (PMP, CPA, A+, etc.)
• Leadership and Supervision (first time supervisors, situational leadership, EQ, delegation, etc.) – this category is “nice to have” and not necessarily required since the university plans to offer many new supervisor development workshops in the near future

- Ability to access courses via single-sign-on
- Ability for university administrator to create playlists and make them available to selected groups of employees
- Support in helping university administrator select courses for specific learning paths, based on organizational needs and competency model
- Automatic access to new and updated courses via vendor’s course library
- Technical support for system access, device compatibility, and login questions
- Ability to report on system usage including course-level participation and completions
- Optional – ability for participants to evaluate and provide feedback on course content and perceived value
- Optional – ability for university administrator to run employee feedback reports
- Optional - ability for supervisors to assign courses to specific cohorts or individual employees, and to monitor completions for assigned training without intervention by university administrator
- Optional - to launch courses and track attendance for selected courses through canvas LMS and/or oracle cloud
