The Vendor is required to provide integrating medical interpretation services with the EPIC electronic health record (EHR) platform.
- Authority serves a diverse patient population with a significant percentage requiring language support.
- We are committed to ensuring timely, equitable, and high-quality communication through qualified medical interpreters.
- Provide information on systems or services that:
• Support real-time integration with EPIC for both scheduled and on-demand interpretation
• Enable in-system documentation of interpretation encounters
• Allow providers and staff to seamlessly request interpretation services within EPIC (e.g., via In Basket, Smart Forms, or orders)
• Offer usage analytics and reporting (by language, modality, department, time, etc.)
• Include support for audio, video, and/or in-person interpretation modalities
• Comply with HIPAA and applicable Joint Commission standards
• Include onboarding, training, and ongoing support models.
