The vendor required to provide manual image review services for roadside equipment captures front and rear images of each vehicle that does not have a valid fas-trak transponder.
- The group of images associated with each vehicle is referred to as an image set.
- Depending on the lane a vehicle is traveling in and the position of the vehicle in that lane, an image set may contain from 4 to 30 images.
- A typical image set contains twelve images; two images of the front of the vehicle, two zoomed in views of the front license plate, four images of the rear of the vehicle and four zoomed in views of the rear license plate.
- Requirement:
• All images that do not bypass human review to contractor.
• Review all license plate image sets that do not bypass human review for plate number and jurisdiction.
• Image sets for contractor review shall be placed in a folder on a shared drive by agency.
• A manifest file with one line per image set that includes a unique identifier for each image set and the timestamp that the image set was placed in the download folder shall be prepared by agency and made available to contractor at mutually agreeable intervals.
• Determine the plate number and jurisdiction for a particular image set due to missing plates, obscured plates, poor image quality or any other reason, contractor shall return a reject code in the results file for each image set for which contractor could not determine the plate number and jurisdiction.
