The Vendor is required to provide for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of designated common areas, including restrooms, hallways, lobbies, kitchens, locker rooms, conference spaces, and entryways.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, reliable communication with department staff, and a consistent cleaning schedule to preserve the condition of the facility and support a professional working environment.
- Cleaning is to be completed 5 days a week, Monday through Friday after 3:30pm according to the services.
- Cleaning equipment and supplies are to be provided by the contractor.
- All equipment to be used must be in acceptable condition to clean effectively and not cause damage to any building finishes, furnishings, or fixtures.
- A storage closest will be provided for storage of all necessary supplies and equipment.
- Department will provide trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels to be replaced in dispensers when needed.
- Communicate any anticipated supply needs to city staff promptly to maintain a two-week stock.
- Contract employees are not permitted to bring non-personnel or family members into the facility.
- Contract employees will be responsible for securing the building when they leave the premises.
- Disinfect and clean all visible office surfaces (tables, counters, cabinets, chairs, etc.) consistently.
- Spot clean walls
- Vacuum carpets thoroughly and clean all hard surface floors completely.
- Dust baseboards, light fixtures, and other visible surfaces regularly.
- Inspect and replenish toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap (provided by the city) daily as needed.
- Maintain, restock, and sanitize all restroom and kitchen facilities daily.
- Sanitize and clean all door handles and interior/exterior glass entryways.
- Collect and dispose of all trash replacing garbage bags proactively.
- Report any building maintenance issues found immediately, using our department maintenance reporter.
- Clean glass entry doors, spot clean side glass, dust door frames high/low for cobwebs, clean/disinfect door handles/surrounding area, clean/disinfect light plates/switches, vacuum runners/mop hard floors.
- Empty trash cans/replace trash bags if needed, dust windowsills, disinfect all customer service counters, dust the tops of copiers/printers and unobstructed computers/telephones, dust the tops of unobstructed file cabinets, dust the tops of unobstructed fireplace mantles.
- Empty trash cans/replace trash bags, clean and disinfect sinks, clean and disinfect the exteriors of small appliances and refrigerators (coffee machines, toaster, water cooler, etc.), spot clean cabinets, clean and disinfect door handles and surrounding area, clean and disinfect light plates/switches, clean and disinfect tables and chairs, mop hard-surface floors, and vacuum carpeted areas.
- Spot clean glass, dust/wipe unobstructed surfaces, counters, tables, clean/disinfect doors/handles, clean/disinfect light plates/switches, vacuum.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
