The Vendor is required to provide marketing and business attraction services.
- Marketing and Promotion:
• Outline, implement, maintain, and monitor marketing and promotion service in effort to:
o Identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and business needs.
o Differentiate city from competitors and highlight unique selling points.
o Utilize various marketing channels to reach potential businesses and investors (e.g., digital platforms, industry publications, trade shows, website content, and targeted promotional campaigns.)
o Foster networking and relationship building with key stakeholders (e.g. business leaders, industry associations, site selectors, government, economic development of organizations.
o Generate positive media coverage and publicity through press releases, media interviews, social media, and other channels of communication to raise awareness of city business advantages and promote success stories of businesses that have chosen to relocate here.
o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business attraction strategies through key performance metrics (e.g., number of leads generated, businesses attracted, jobs created, capital investment secured),
o Provide promotional materials such as community or site sector profiles, fact sheets, and brocures that convey a consistent message and include our community brand.
o Develop and maintain website and social media to promote city and provide key information (e.g., database of available properties, labor data, demographic information, community profile).
- Lead Generation and Management:
• Outline, implement, maintain, and monitor lead generation and management services in effort to:
o Serve as the lead for new business inquiries and responses.
o Research and identify prospective investors/companies with the potential for growth in city four targeted industry selectors.
o Design and managem proactive outreach actions and events for lead generation to attract outside investors to the community. (e.g., attending conferences, holding forums, hosting site/farm tours, or other events).
- Business Support:
• Provide direct assistance to businesses to attract and encourage investment in city (e.g., customized incentives/grants, assistance with site selection, permitting, workforce development, and other aspects of business growth or relocation).
