The Vendor is required to provide integrated marketing communications services and to research and conduct its media buys, including but not limited to TV, billboard, transit, radio, print and digital.
- Provide to conduct research, develop and implement a new branding campaign, provide a college wide marketing plan and provide writing and creative services for new marketing material.
- Worked with media outlets directly to negotiate and purchase billboard, TV, radio, print and digital advertising.
- Integrated Marketing Communications:
• Provide online portal (such as a google drive) to access all budgets, scopes of work, documents and reports
• Manage project meetings with office of college advancement staff, including developing agendas, recaps and deadlines
• Conduct research on community primary audiences, including summaries of third-party research, focus groups, online surveys and interviews
• Work with the office of college advancement to develop and implement marketing campaigns
• Conduct assessment and provide assistance in search engine and ongoing optimization of community campaign landing pages and website
• Produce materials and communicate with community colleagues in line with community communication and style guide and visual identity standards guide
• Write content for various communications tactics, including but not limited to: articles, billboard advertising, digital advertising, postcards, webpages

• Handle the purchasing of community mailing lists
• Develop and design materials related to advertising, branding, marketing and public relations and in support of student recruitment and retention
• Provide monthly analytic reports with recommendations for campaign improvements (if applicable)
• Meet and work with the strategic marketing and community engagement department to receive approvals and achieve goals
• Demonstrate understanding of and write content in AP style
• Handle last-minute and quick projects (design, writing, research) if needed. To edit and design a brochure, for example, an expedited deadline might be 10 business days.
• Provide crisis communications services if the college’s office of college advancement is incapacitated and unable to do so
• Provide translation services for materials
- Media Buying:
• Conduct brainstorming sessions with community office of college advancement to review community current objectives, audiences and advertising portfolio
• Provide an assessment of community current objectives, audiences and advertising portfolio
• Provide recommendations on the most effective advertising to reach community primary target audiences based on your assessment and market research
• Negotiate media buying contracts on behalf of the college for best placement to meet the college’s objectives and best use of resources
• Negotiate value-add for traditional and nontraditional advertising
• Pay vendors on behalf of the college
• Reconcile invoices from media outlets to ensure accuracy
• Provide and keep current and accurate detailed budget of all media buys by campaign and tactic
• Provide monthly, end-of-campaign and quarterly value-add reports
• Respond to expedited requests regarding media buys based on assessment results
• Provide community with the latest market research that can inform future media buys.
