The vendor is required to provide public relations, media relations, communications and event consulting.
- External communications support
• Assist in identifying proactive media opportunities to expand agency reputation as an industry leader in customer experience, air service, operational excellence, safety and security, and sustainability.
• Coordinate all media contact with agency communications team to ensure effective, targeted outreach.
• Contact international, national and trade media in support of promoting stories featuring agency, its employees, facilities, products and services, as directed by communications team.
• Assist in developing strategies, content and brand voice for social media channels to increase agency engagement scores, improving its rankings among its defined peer set of north american airports.
• Analyze social media engagements to be measured as “likes, shares and comments” (or similar) for meta (Facebook and Instagram), x (Twitter), YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Provide media monitoring and analytics as directed to identify trends, opportunities and share of voice for agency in commercial aviation.
- Internal communications support
• Develop strategic communications that engage various employee populations, with focus on various media types and expand the use of video or audio elements.
• Develop and execute strategic campaigns to increase awareness and positive perception of agency airport’s total rewards program for healthcare and other benefits, including the annual enrollment guide.
• Develop and execute campaigns and communications strategies to increase stakeholder participation in the airport’s live well program, helping the airport achieve its annual goals.
• Develop and execute campaigns and tactics to boost participation in the airport’s employee engagement surveys.
• Assist in design aspects and implementation of agency upgraded, mobileesponsive intranet to increase engagement through page views and unique visits.
• Monitor industry trends for intranet and content management systems, providing counsel to agency communications team on best practices for reaching a large, diverse and disparate workforce.
• Develop, collect, and analyze metrics for internal communications to measure effectiveness and produce communications plans to achieve improved results.
- Crisis communications
• Ability to provide around the clock counsel and communications support in the event of a crisis or full-scale activation of the airport’s emergency operations center
• Monitor traditional, digital and social media to identify and correct any erroneous reports, as directed by agency communications.
• Must have capabilities to deploy personnel or surrogates globally to mitigate reputational issues.
- Content development to support all agency communications and marketing functions
• Develop content from concept to deployment for multiple internal and external platforms, including websites, social media, digital signs, emails, press releases, posters, banners, and other media, as designated by agency communications and marketing. demonstrated capabilities should include, but not be limited to:
o Copywriting for multiple platforms, adapted to reach intended audiences in the most impactful format.
o Video, including shooting, editing, optimizing for mobile and post-production enhancements for both internal and external opportunities.
o Photography, including shooting, editing and optimizing for print and digital publication.
o Graphic design
o Infographics for print and digital publication.
o Animation capabilities are desired.
o PowerPoint and other presentation formats.
- Event and conference support
• Agency communications and marketing, develop, coordinate and execute planning for events and conferences, including but not limited to executive appearances, media events, internal announcements and celebrations.
• Tasks and assignments may include coordinating equipment and support for lighting, sound, decorations, gifts, signs, food or meals, site surveys, and reserving locations.
