The vendor is required to provide comprehensive strategic consulting services in NCAA compliance.
- Institutional responsibilities
• The university's established comprehensive compliance programs, including but not limited to compliance staffing, policy manuals, self-reporting procedures, interpretations of NCAA rules and regulations, and educational initiatives.
- Monitoring mechanisms
• Review and advise on various aspects of the university’s athletic programs for recruiting and academic eligibility activities, financial aid and scholarships, academic progress of student-athletes, and software technologies.
- Department support
• Update team works compliance and recruiting program
• Monitor and approve CARA logs
• Approve the transfer portal submission paperwork and input names into the transfer portal
• Review and approve all official and unofficial visits
• Assist coaches with inputting playing and practice seasons into team works compliance and recruiting
• Answer compliance questions from coaches and staff
• Provide direct NCAA compliance support to our coaches and staff
• Conduct rules education with coaches, staff, and student-athletes
• Conduct all beginning-of-the-year compliance meetings with student athletes
• NCAA waiver requests and violations into RSRO
• Waiver requests to the southland conference.
