The vendor is required to provide marketing, communications, public relations, website maintenance, event planning and other general project management.
1. Public and media relations
• Develop a wide range of materials such as media kits, talking points, press releases.
• Coordinate and schedule press interviews with agency staff.
• Set-up and stage press conferences
• Confer with agency staff to develop consistent messaging and help to develop talking points, speeches, editorial pieces.
• Provide media training and ongoing interview preparation.
2. Website maintenance and social media coordination
• Create engaging campaigns, including design graphics, write and edit copy and its social media networks including Facebook, Instagram, x (formerly twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and Tiktok.
• Create quarterly content calendar for social media platforms and manage scheduling of all posts
• Update website with revised and new documents per agency staff direction.
• Work with website hosting company to troubleshoot any problems with site.
• Engage with social media followers with daily posts and respond to comments.
• May assist with the monthly distribution of e-mail blasts.
3. Event planning
• Under the direction of agency, assist in the planning and implementation of the district’s public events.
• Facilitate logistics, including guest lists, vendors, invitations, speakers, promotional materials, giveaways, etc.
