The vendor is required to provide videography services for video content as part of its work to engage communities on specific planning endeavors, showcase resources and convene local jurisdictions, and to inform stakeholders about agency role in the regional planning process.
• Vendor(s) must demonstrate a technically acceptable ability to conceptualize, shoot, edit and produce short, broadcast-quality video features from inception to final product.
• Vendor(s) must demonstrate the ability to produce videos in various styles and genres.
• Vendor(s) must have a proven track record of developing high quality creative work with demonstrated impact.
• Vendor(s) must have the proven ability to create short videos in a fast turnaround time.
• Vendor(s) must comply with agency design and logo standards using approved type styles and logos.
• Vendor(s) must have ability to produce videos in both english and Spanish versions, including voiceovers and subtitles, when needed.
• Understand and adhere to all applicable copyright considerations (music, images, model releases, etc.).
• Adhere to all permitting procedures related to applicable city and county requirements when shooting elsewhere.
• Comply with agency design and logo standards using approved type styles and logos.
• Be able to supply draft and final versions of the video for approval by electronic means.
• Agree that all materials developed become property of agency, including all intellectual property and other proprietary rights, without restriction or limitation on their use.
• Vendors can use materials to showcase their work; however, further use of materials is subject to agency written approval.
- Individual production plans; however, in general, video vendor(s) will be responsible for the following deliverables on each production:
• Collaboration with agency on concept
• Script or treatment
• Director
• Producer
• Crew
• Voice-over talent and recording in english and Spanish, if needed (including release and waiver)
• On-camera talent, if needed (including release and waiver)
• Music licensing, if needed
• On-screen titles and motion graphics, if appropriate
• All production equipment and facilities
• Filming permits, where applicable
• All production and post-production coordination
• Rough cuts and revisions for approval, supplied electronically
• SUBRIP (.SRT) transcript files for closed captioning videos on social media
• English and Spanish versions with subtitles, if required
• Final high-quality files and required for each individual production, delivered in appropriate format based on specs of platform required for usage
• Electronic files of raw footage from all video shoots related to the production, for cataloguing and potential future use by agency
• All intellectual property and other proprietary rights, without restriction or limitation on their use.
