The Vendor is required to provide to develop a comprehensive, equity-driven, and actionable arts and creative economy strategy that reflects the unique identity of city, supports local artists and creative entrepreneurs, and positions arts and culture as a key driver of economic development, quality of life, and community pride.
- A community-informed, actionable strategy that:
• Champions city creative identity
• Builds support for new investments in the arts
• Integrates arts and culture into City operations and economic development
• Establishes the foundation for future public art programs, grant programs, commissions, or creative districts
- Objectives:
• Engage residents, artists, cultural organizations, educators, businesses, council members, and staff shaping city creative future.
• Assess the current state of the creative sector and identify gaps, opportunities, and untapped potential.
• Define clear goals, strategies, and implementation steps that the city and its partners can act upon.
• Align with the needs expressed by the community and the city’s values around diversity, equity, inclusion, innovation, and sustainable growth.
