The Vendor is required to provide a consultant with experience in judicial branch strategic planning that will assist the Court with its strategic planning process.
- The Court envisions that the services of a person or entity will facilitate, advice, and assist court staff with organizing and executing the planning effort and writing the updated plan as needed.
- Facilitate a series of meetings with the Court’s Strategic Planning Committee which focus on the following:
• Discuss internal and external trends, issues, and forces that affect the Court
• Conduct a review of the Court’s existing mission and vision statements
• Facilitate a consensus on whether they need revision
• Conduct progress meetings, as appropriate to keep Court leaders engaged and updated on the progress of the planning initiative
• Convene a final meeting that summarizes and synthesizes the data gathering
- Community Outreach
• Work with the Strategic Planning Committee to develop a community outreach and data gathering strategy that is efficient but effective and solicits input from a reasonable cross section of the Court’s stakeholders.
• The strategy may include the use of on-line survey tools, video remote conferencing, and targeted in-person focus group meetings, as appropriate.
- Facilitate a one-day, in-person Strategic Planning Summit that brings together judicial officers and court leadership for the purpose of reviewing engagement findings and collaboratively shaping the Court’s strategic direction.
- Work with the Strategic Planning Committee to develop a comprehensive new 3-year strategic plan. This process will build upon the planning, data collection, stakeholder engagement, and other information-gathering efforts conducted to date.
