Video Repository and Streaming System

The Vendor is required to provide for the project known as college video repository and streaming system to be implemented by college on a 3 year contract.
- Objectives:
•    A video streaming server (or streaming media server) that is a vender-hosted solution
•    A solution that supports delivery of audio and video content and streaming
•    A solution that is Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) compliant with Canvas
•    A solution that complies with WCAG AA accessibility standards
- The technology environment can be described as follows: 
•    Instructure Canvas
•    Teams
•    Zoom
•    Office 365 applications
o    Word
o    PowerPoint
o    One Drive
- Technical Integration & Compatibility
•    Must support LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) integration with Canvas LMS: 
o    Ability to install at account level with default visibility disabled for course navigation.
o    Enable linking through course modules and assignment creation for assessment tools.
•    Provide Single Sign-On (SSO) via: 
o    Active Directory Federated Service (ADFS) (current)
o    Azure Active Directory (future migration)
o    Scalable architecture to handle increasing contributors and users without performance degradation.
- Platform Features
•    Ease of Use: 
o    Intuitive interface for faculty, students, and staff to upload, manage, and share videos from any device.
•    Accessibility: 
o    Built-in tools for closed captions and transcripts to meet accessibility standards.
•    Content Control: 
o    Minimal restrictions on uploading, sharing, downloading, archiving, and transferring content to other servers.
•    Device & Browser Compatibility: 
o    Fully functional across major operating systems and browsers.
- Implementation & Migration
•    Vendor must: 
o    Plan and implement the solution.
o    Migrate existing content from the current system to the new platform.
o    Provide comprehensive training for all user roles (faculty, students, administrators).
- Support & Maintenance
•    Ongoing technical support throughout the contract term.
•    Clear escalation process and defined SLAs for issue resolution.
•    Regular updates and security patches.
