The vendor required to provide marketing, education and outreach services to support specific energy efficiency programs offered throughout the county.
- Implement induction cooking program
• Conduct educational induction cooking demonstration workshops that incorporate energy efficiency and all-electric building education.
• Least half of the workshops shall be conducted in a language other than english and incorporate culturally relevant elements.
• Purchase, store, and distribute portable induction cooktop units and induction compatible cookware to program participants.
• Create and distribute workshop participants support resources (e.g., recording of workshop, copies of recipes, and follow-up responses to participant questions).
• Make resources available in at least english and Spanish.
• Document workshop participation and event impact including but not limited to number of participants, zip code, and city of residence, participant feedback on induction cooking and changes in understanding of health, energy efficiency, and induction benefits.
• Partner with existing cooking education programs in county to expand program reach and effectiveness.
• Partner with health-focused, community-based organizations to identify and, where appropriate, participate in existing events related to relevant topic(s).
• Perform marketing and recruitment for workshops in geographic areas identified by county staff.
- Support bayren program participant recruitment
• Perform pre-screening for bayren efficiency and sustainable energy (ease) home program eligibility.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of eligible households to refer to the ease home program, with a target of at least 200 “warm leads” per year.
