Digital Materials Services

The Vendor is required to provide for digital materials, both streaming and downloadable, to provide patrons with materials in the following formats: eBook, eAudiobook, eVideo and eMusic.
- As the library has evolved to meet user demand, our collection has grown to incorporate digital materials into our preexisting collection of print and physical materials.
- Professional and experienced customer service representatives who communicate effectively with Library personnel;
- A designated Account Manager to work with agency staff during implementation and throughout the term of the contract to resolve any issues concerning their product;
- Access to a dedicated account specialist to agency, responsible for the handling of escalated patron/staff issues;
- A system that allows library staff to add/edit content, create banners, personalize the site experience, generate reports and complete other tasks necessary to run the day-to-day operations as part of normal services with additional or customized reports upon Library's request at no additional cost;
- A solution that allows multiple models of access of its content by patrons.
- Provide agency full access to account information via a user-friendly website/interface which will be available 24x7 365 days.
- Product information available via an online catalog to agency staff and patrons;
- All product selection and delivery must be done through an electronic, online system;
- Online, real time order inventory available online to agency staff and patrons;
- Provide access to a variety of publishers and their content, including the “Big 5” publisher catalogs. (I.e. Penguin Random House, Hachette, HarperCollins, Macmillan Publishers, and Simon & Schuster.)
- eBooks and eAudiobooks, product should offer both .AZW and .AZW3 file formats.
- Solution shall be compatible, either through device or application, with most devices, including kindle eReader and Kindle Fire, operating on common operating systems (Windows, Android, Apple, etc.)
