The Vendor is required to provide public transit management, operations and maintenance services for the operation of its transport fixed-route intra county bus service.
- These services include the daily management and oversight of this fixed-route bus system, including, but not limited to, proper maintenance and repairs for buses and equipment, scheduling, routing, road supervision, safety and accident investigation, fare collection, use and support, fare collection, use and support of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and customer service activities during normal operating circumstances, as well as during unusual operating circumstances, such as inclement weather or emergency service operations.
- The General Manager shall be available at the operations / maintenance facility during normal business hours (typically Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm) and at other times as situations dictate (e.g. emergencies).
- The General Manager shall work cooperatively with the county and be accountable for all substantive matters pertaining to the provision of transit services as provided under this Contract.
- The Maintenance Manager shall be available at the operations / maintenance facility during normal business hours (typically Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm) and at other times as situations dictate (e.g. emergencies) These matters include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring all maintenance performance goals are met.
• Proper and timely preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Effective quality assurance on maintenance functions and outcomes
• Maintaining a fully staffed and competent maintenance division.
• Complete data collection, compilation, analysis, and reporting.
• Compliance with agency and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Effective environmental compliance and sustainability management.
• Effective operability and performance of all supporting sub-systems and components.
• Maintaining fuel efficiency.
• Providing a clean, comfortable, and safe fleet.
• Professional response to comments from passengers and the general public.
• Effective response to specific requests for other assistance as the need arises.
• Attending local and regional meetings at the county’s request.
