The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive strategic communications and public affairs services.
- Regularly engage with Office staff through weekly meetings, and email and phone communications.
- Provide media training and interview preparation for agency leadership and other identified staff that Includes:
• Drafting potential interview questions and possible responses;
• Conducting mock interviews and providing feedback.
- Create content, including graphics, reels and captions, for agency social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X and YouTube, that increases and enhances agency social media presence.
- Utilize social media management platforms to schedule and manage content posted to agency social media platforms.
- Administer media alerts and press releases, including writing and editing copy, distributing approved deliverable to media outlets, and coordinating media response.
- Assist with crisis communication responses, including brainstorming, writing and/or editing statements on behalf of agency and/or agency leadership.
- Monitor inquiries received by agency from media outlets and coordinate responses on an ad hoc basis (i.e. when Office leadership is out of the office).
- Provide other related services as needed and determined by agency.
