Video Production and Media Services

The Vendor is required to provide on-call video production, creative, and media-related services in support of the city’s public, educational, and governmental (PEG) channel and associated city media platforms.
- The City seeks professional services to support a wide range of needs, including but not limited to original video content production, live and recorded programming, and media presentation across broadcast, digital and social platforms.
- Services may be utilized for broadcast television, live streaming, digital distribution, and archival purposes, including but not limited to YouTube, streaming applications, the City website, and social media platforms.
- Depending on the service category, firms may be required to demonstrate capabilities including, but not limited to:
•    HD and UHD video acquisition
•    Video editing and post-production
•    Live streaming and broadcast operations
•    Closed captioning and accessibility compliance
•    Music licensing and rights management
•    Motion graphics and animation
•    Short-form and long-form programming
•    Social media video production
•    Drone operations (where applicable and permitted)
- Live Program Direction and Switching
•    Live program direction
•    Video switching
•    Camera operation, either manually or remotely
•    Live audio coordination
•    Support for multi-camera productions
- Feature Content Generation
•    Mayor’s Roundtables
•    State of the City productions
•    Department profiles and informational programs
•    Original channel programming 
- Video Engineering Services
•    Video and audio signal routing and system integration
•    Maintenance and support of PEG channel infrastructure
•    Cablecast platform configuration and support
•    Crestron system programming, installation, and troubleshooting
•    Q-Sys system programming, installation, and troubleshooting
•    Support for AV-over-IP technologies, including NDI, Dante, and SMPTE ST 2110
•    Equipment diagnostics, repair coordination, and system optimization
- Regular Event Coverage
•    Field videography for City-sponsored events
•    On-site interviewing of community members and City officials
•    Production of short-form event recap videos
•    Independent field production, including shooting, interviewing, and editing.
