RFP Description

The vendor required to provide public relations and communication services for speechwriting, social media posting, and production logistics, the awarded vendor will provide additional expertise in media preparation, message refinement, and digital storytelling pertinent to the office’s official duties, including constituent services, public programs, and policy issues.
- Requirement:
1. Brand messaging, and creative direction
•    Development of key messages and supporting message stacks for use across all channels.
•    Regular media preparation and training for the lieutenant governor, including on-camera coaching and necessary materials.
•    Adaptation of messaging for print, email, web, and social platforms.
•    Recommendations for earned media opportunities across all platforms
o    Or seek and carry out unique local media opportunities that may be effective
•    Strategic advice, planning, and guidance
•    Provide analyses of media performances
•    Create and maintain a database of notable media appearances and speeches for use by staff
2. Content creation and storytelling and creative services
•    Work collaboratively, as needed, with lt. gov. and staff to recommend creative content or copy to increase awareness and visibility of the office.
•    Recommend and develop video for multimedia storytelling, if applicable
•    Digital storytelling deliverables include, but are not limited to:
o    Development of short-form videos (30-90 seconds) that are effective to both video and digital audiences
o    High-quality designs for productions of print, billboards, websites, social media postings, video production, audio production, and script writing for broadcast radio and television commercials.
3. Execution and project management
•    Closely coordinate with office staff, obtain necessary approvals before publishing external-facing materials.
•    Provide project management across multiple platforms, strategic planning for messaging and marketing, and consistent and clear communications.
4. Copywriting and editing
•    Provide copywriting and editing services as requested for all marketing materials.
