RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide videographer to develop a series of ten (10) short videos highlighting youth apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship in state for various audiences including but not limited to youth, family, industry partners, and educators.
- The videographer is tasked with producing, filming, and editing videos with specific messaging for each audience with formatting suited to both standard video and social media.
- For industry partners, the videos will highlight how to set up youth apprenticeship and preapprenticeship opportunities, support students, and connect with schools and students. Educator videos will focus on how to connect students to pre-apprenticeship and youth apprenticeship opportunities.
- The videographer is responsible for working with agency to schedule filming on location at industry partners’ businesses, educational institutions, Department offices, and within other settings as appropriate.
- The videographer needs to complete work in a timely manner and stay within any budget limitations outlined.
- Pre-production
•    Meet with the agency prior to filming to discuss in detail the goals, timelines, and roles of all involved participants and to review messaging, target audience, and other factors.
•    Work with the agency staff to identify filming locations.
•    Coordinate with the agency staff to schedule on-location filming.
•    Ensure approved video waivers are prepared for all interviews and video footage. 
- Production
•    Maintain regular communication with the agency around any concerns, questions, updates, progress, etc.
•    Produce a series of ten (10) videos that are web-ready, high definition, digital videos of varying length, some under 3 minutes and some up to 7 minutes, to include:
•    Interviews with participants and stakeholders
•    B-roll and candid footage
•    Ensure high-quality audio and video capture.
•    Film on location across multiple community settings throughout state including schools, industry partners’ business locations, and state offices.
•    Provide all necessary equipment such as cameras, lights, and audio.
•    Secure release forms, provided by the agency, for any student participants featured in the video.
- Post-Production and Editing
•    Final videos must meet WCAG 2.2 and ADA accessibility requirements for digital media.
•    Add branding elements to videos including but not limited to agency logos, intro and outro slides, and end credits.
•    Include royalty-free background music and basic motion graphics as appropriate.
•    Deliver final videos in multiple formats, including those that can be shared on all social media platforms.
•    Provide the rough-cut videos to the agency within 30 days of the end of production, to allow for feedback and any requested changes from the agency.
- Educator Video
•    Audience: Educators such as work-based learning coordinators, extended learning opportunity coordinators, and school counselors
•    Quantity: one (1) video
•    Length: Approximately 5-7 minutes
•    Purpose: To guide educators on how to connect students with pre-apprenticeship and youth apprenticeship opportunities
