Transit Advertising Services

The Vendor is required to provide for revenue-generating interior and exterior bus advertising services for its bus system.
- Services include, but are not limited to, the sale and placement of advertising, executive and administrative management, coordination of advertising production, maintenance of advertising, customer relations, preparation of reports of financial and other matters pertaining to the service
- The City provides a full range of services, including public safety, highways and streets, economic development, public transportation, parks, golf, pools, recreation, water, wastewater, solid waste, airport, development services, and other administrative/support services.
- Advertising that is not permitted, includes, but is not limited to the following:
•    Advertisements containing or promoting obscene material
•    Advertisements containing or promoting material that may be considered harmful to juveniles
•    Advertisements containing profane content
•    Advertisements containing violent or criminal content
•    Advertisements promoting alcohol, tobacco, or firearms
•    Advertisements containing content that is considered controversial
•    Advertisements containing political content
•    Advertisements that degrade or disparage groups based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, race, ethnicity, or political affiliation
- This includes but is not limited to, reflective materials, side directional lights, side reflectors, and other features. In addition, advertising materials cannot interfere with the normal utilization of fuel or other access doors, vents, glazing, and other equipment installed in the various vehicles that may require regular preventive maintenance. Vinyl shall not be placed over any of the body moldings.
