The Vendor is required to provide on-going, as needed, creative and marketing services to various departments of university.
- Use of AI to:
• Create portraits, headshots, or images of people,
• Create or recreate events,
• Modify photos or video of past events,
• Modify any of University’s campuses,
• Substantially change the editorial narrative of an existing image or video, or to
• Substantially change someone’s likeness.
- Potential services include:
• Creative design and concepting;
• Website user research, planning, design, maintenance, and production;
• Copywriting, proofreading, and copyediting;
• Visual and multimedia storytelling (e.g., motion graphics and other types of animation, graphic design, etc.)
• Primary market research (qualitative and quantitative approaches), analysis, and strategy formulation;
• Media buying and placement services;
• Experiential and event marketing;
• Staff augmentation for any of the above.
- Creative design and concepting:
• Creating, designing, and producing print, out-of-home (OOH), broadcast (radio, TV), and Internet branding campaigns (e.g., native advertising, video, Connected TV/Over the Top, Google Performance Max and other AI-enabled digital media, paid search, etc.).
• Creating, designing, and producing enrollment/direct response campaigns that could include advertising, direct mail, landing pages, emails, digital media, etc.
• Concepting, designing, and producing collateral materials such as brochures, flyers, booklets, newsletters, folders, posters, etc.
• Creating custom illustrations and graphics
- Website user research, planning, design, maintenance, and production:
• Researching, planning, creating, designing, and producing landing pages, websites, and other web templates.
• Provide proposed site/information architectures, page prototypes, and illustrations.
• Creating, designing, and programming web templates and incorporating elements such as animation, motion graphics, databases, calendars, website analytics, form managers, polls/surveys, CRMs, social media, etc.
• Perform simple website maintenance tasks upon request (e.g., content revisions, updates, etc.).
- Copy writing, proofreading and copy editing:
• Provide various types of copy such as technical copywriting, advertising copywriting, sales/marketing copywriting, script writing, informational copywriting, and journalistic copywriting (e.g., news and feature stories, media releases, newsletters, etc.).
• Write, edit, and proof all copy before presenting to the unit for approval.
- Visual and multimedia storytelling:
• Producing short topic videos for use at events or posting on websites, social media, 15- and 30-second digital ads, etc. that incorporate music, full-motion graphics, and animation.
• Produce short full-motion graphic or animated video.
• Video capture, edit, closed caption, and deliver video files of speeches, panels, conferences, interviews, etc.
- Media buying and placement services:
• Developing and recommending a comprehensive media strategy aligned with our target audiences and campaign objectives.
• Negotiating and purchasing media across channels such as television, radio, print, out-of-home, digital display, paid social, streaming audio/video, and emerging platforms, as applicable.
• Optimizing placements for cost efficiency, reach, frequency, and audience impact.
• Providing ongoing performance monitoring and making recommendations for adjustments during campaign flight dates.
• Ensuring proper ad trafficking, compliance with placements, verification, and reporting.
• Managing deadlines, insertion orders, and any required coordination with creative/production teams.
• Regular reporting dashboards and post-buy analyses, including reach, impressions, cost efficiency, and performance against KPIs.
- Experiential and event marketing:
• Experience developing and executing experiential marketing campaigns that strengthen institutional reputation and student engagement.
• Successful track record in producing campus events, alumni programs, admissions initiatives, and community outreach experiences.
• Ability to design interactive activations that align with the university’s mission, values, and brand identity.
• The ability to procure, set up, and manage equipment associated with events and booths (i.e. projectors, screens, lighting, etc.).
• Coordinating multi-departmental collaboration, including communications, student affairs, advancement, and athletics.
• Planning events that reach diverse audiences, including prospective students, parents, alumni, and donors.
• Strong project management capabilities, ensuring timely delivery, budget efficiency, and seamless event execution.
• Familiarity with higher education environments, protocols, and stakeholder communication requirements.
