The Vendor is required to provide county aims to improve maternal health whole-person care delivery, quality improvement and safety, and access, infrastructure and workforce.
- Facilitation of the Advisory Group
• Support recruitment and membership maintenance of at least six (6) Medicaid perinatal beneficiary group members, not including support persons, in partnership with department
• Use trauma-informed facilitation methods and ensure meaningful engagement with beneficiaries throughout planning, summary, and dissemination of results
• For in person meetings, address attendance barriers through non-monetary supports, which may include:
o Accessible community meeting spaces,
o On-site childcare,
o Healthy and culturally appropriate food,
o Translation and interpretation services as needed, and/or
o Transportation assistance or in-kind vouchers
- The report will summarize identified strategies to improve navigation and experience of medicaid & chip services for perinatal populations, access to perinatal benefits, delivery of whole-person care, and reduction of coverage gaps, and findings will be widely disseminated by the selected responder within the agency test region.
- Project Management, Meetings, and Reporting
• Submit quarterly progress reports
• Participate in monthly planning and coordination meetings with the state
• Provide meeting agendas
• Conduct relevant research, literature review, and policy analyses
• Support state-led evaluation activities by sharing relevant materials
- The report findings should be disseminated through multiple channels for different agency audiences.
