RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide qualified, experienced, and properly trained personnel to perform stagehand and production support services, including but not limited to:
- Production team services
•    Load-in and load-out of touring productions
•    Rigging assistance (ground and overhead, as permitted and qualified)
•    Scenic assembly and strike
•    Lighting, audio, and video equipment setup and teardown
•    Lighting design and light board operation
•    Front of house audio mixing
•    Monitor mixing
•    Fly operations
•    Backline and instrument handling
•    Stage set-up, changeovers, and resets
•    Stage deck, soft goods, and drapery handling
- Production and technical personnel
1. Head carpenter
•    Leads all scenic and staging operations for touring productions, overseeing the safe and efficient load-in, installation, operation, and load-out of all scenic elements. 
•    This position supervises carpentry labor, coordinates with the touring production, and city staff, and ensures all scenic work is executed according to technical drawings, schedules, and safety standards.
2. Assistant carpenter
•    Supports the head carpenter in the execution of all scenic and staging operations for touring productions. 
•    This position assists with supervising carpentry labor, performs hands-on scenic installation and operation, and helps ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical drawings and production schedules.
3. Lighting technician and electrician
•    This role includes, but is not limited to, installing, mounting, hooking-up, tying in, focusing, adjusting, calibrating, operating, installing gels and otherwise handling and managing all electrical, lighting and sound apparatus that may be part of the production taking place.
4. Audio technician
•    Responsible for the setup, operations, and strike of audio systems for touring productions, including mixing and running the audio console during performances. 
•    This position supports the touring audio team by managing signal flow, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues while ensuring all audio work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with production requirements and venue standards.
5. Video technician
•    Responsible for the setup, operation, and strike of all video systems for touring productions, including projections, led, cameras, and playback systems as applicable. 
•    This position operates video equipment during performances, supports system configurations and troubleshooting, and ensures all video elements are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with production requirements and venue standards.
6. Fly rail operator
•    Responsible for the safe operation of the venues fly system during load-in, performances, and load-out for touring productions. 
•    This position executes cueing of flown scenic and soft goods, maintains clear communication with stage management and crew, and ensures all fly system operations are performed in accordance with established safety procedures and production requirements.
7. Rigger (as applicable and properly certified)
•    Responsible for the safe installation, operation, and removal of rigging systems for touring productions. 
•    This position executes overhead rigging, coordinates with production, and city staff and ensures all rigging work complies with industry standards, load requirements, and established safety protocols.
8. Stage manager or production assistant
•    Supports the production and venue by coordinating backstage operations, schedules, and communication during load-in, performances, and load-out. 
•    This position assists with cueing, artist and crew coordination, and general production support to ensure performances run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
