The Vendor is required to provide training, outreach, and expansion activities once all required training materials have been developed and finalized.
- Training and education development
• Provide lead-hazard training and education services to municipal health and building officials, realtors, private home inspectors, housing authorities, maternal and child health home visitors, and early childhood education professionals.
- Lead dust wipe testing technician training and curriculum development
• Six (6) hours of classroom training, in-person or virtual.
• A two (2)-hour in person component that covers the selection of sampling locations and components, conducting visual assessments, alternative inspection technologies and methods, collection of dust wipes and soil samples, and how to prepare a report.
• Instructor slides created in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• A student manual created in Microsoft word.
• A post-training evaluation document.
• The tool kit developed.

• Those involved in early childhood education.
• Community health workers.
• Private home inspectors.
• State association of realtors.
• Southern state home builders and remodelers association.
• Lakes region home builders and remodelers association.
- Must complete an annual year-end self-evaluation and improvement plan addressing the following areas:
• Strategies that were effective.
• Communication.
• Logistics.
• Planning.
• Coordination.
• Education.
• Materials.
• Areas for improvement, including strategies to address identified gaps.
• Future strategies to increase capacity and interest in services, including recommendations for how state-level resources may support these efforts.
