The Vendor is required to provide communications and marketing services for development and implementation of a communications plan and the development of marketing materials, language, and messaging.
- Communications plan
• Identified distribution channels and cadences for each target audience, including tone and voice recommendations and event opportunities that align with where each audience can be met directly.
• Outlines of content pieces, noting which will be best suited for each audience.
• For instance, students and the general public will connect more directly with short-form video content based around project highlights or internal collaborators, whereas funding audiences will require brochures or one-pagers that express the economic impact and include more granular details on arid projects and partners.
- Video production and content capture
• We are looking for the production of a series of individual project highlight videos, which will capture the specific impact of arid in the communities and environments it serves.
• These specific project videos will be incorporated in the interactive map, included on agency website, shared via social media platforms, and made available to project partners to further communicate agency work and impact.
• Content will be packaged and delivered to arid staff for distribution, in alignment with communications plan.
- Interactive map and website updates
• The website serves as the face of agency brand, mission, and vision.
• The contractor will collaborate with arid and the university website management team to rework copy on specific website pages to reflect our work, initiatives, and direction.
- Expanded marketing and templates creation
• Tri-fold brochures: create new, polished tri-fold brochures that express the strongest messaging and data that shows the impact of arid, targeted primarily at informing legislative and funder audiences.
• One-pagers: create new, polished one-pagers, specifically targeted at audiences including students, funders, and the general public, among others.
• As well, we request designing and creating standardized templates for PowerPoints and reports, for both internal and external use.
• PowerPoint templates: create standardized, branded PowerPoint templates for internal and external use with specific pages dictated by the client that could include title page, graphical pages, table of contents, and more.
• Report templates: create standardized, branded report templates for internal and external use, including specific pages and sections dictated by the client that could include cover pages, title, table of contents, and more.
• Flyer templates: create standardized, branded flyer templates for sharing with members of the public, including important sections and engaging graphical and visual content to capture attention quickly and easily.
- Public relations
• Identify and place relevant news stories in local and regional media outlets, on a consultative, case-by-case basis.
• Examples of relevant news stories could include new, high-profile project partners, large grants or other funding wins, and new hires or departmental expansions.
• Another effective messaging avenue is advertising.
• We are in need of a vendor to identify relevant digital advertising opportunities, creating bespoke proposals for the cost and implementation of digital advertising campaigns using existing marketing assets where appropriate.
