Campus Media Services

The Vendor is required to provide for campus media services.
¬- Coordinate space requirements and installation of mechanical and electrical work, which are indicted diagrammatically on drawings. Follow route shown for pipes, ducts, and conduit, as closely as practicable: place runs parallel with line of building. Utilize space efficiently to maximize accessibility for other installations, for maintenance, and for repairs.
- Shop Fabricate and pre-assemble interrelated parts where possible.
- Provide holes, slots, cutouts, blocking, screeds, nailers, chases and similar preparation as the work progresses, as required to receive or pass subsequent work without damage to previously completed work.
- For mechanical and electrical work, provide dielectric unions or similar separation. In particular, provide isolation as necessary between exterior underground systems and interior above-grade systems where they meet dissimilar metals.
- Fit Work tight to pipes, sleeves, ducts, conduit, and other penetrations through surfaces.
- Maintain integrity of wall, ceiling, or floor construction; completely seal voids.
- Refinish surfaces to match adjacent finishes. For continuous surfaces, refinish to nearest intersection; for an assembly, refinish entire unit.
