The Vendor is required to provide brand development services to include brand identity consolidation, logo standardization, and trademark support.
- Requirement:
1. Brand asset inventory and audit
• Identification and inventory of existing logos, sub-brand marks, and visual identifiers currently used across colleges, departments, programs, and initiatives.
• Evaluation of how logos and visual assets are used across print materials, websites, digital platforms, social media, and other communications.
• Identification of inconsistencies, duplication, and areas where brand fragmentation exists.
2. Brand architecture assessment
• Evaluation of the relationship between the university’s institutional brand and unit-level identities.
• Recommendations regarding the retention, modification, or consolidation of existing sub-brand identities.
• Development of a proposed brand hierarchy that aligns all university units under the primary institutional brand.
3. Unified institutional logo development
• Development of logo concepts that reflect the university’s mission, values, and character.
• Evaluation of existing visual elements that may inform the new identity.
• Presentation of proposed logo concepts and supporting rationale.
4. Sub-brand and unit identity framework
• Naming conventions for academic and administrative units.
• Visual hierarchy and alignment with the primary institutional brand.
• Appropriate use of sub-brand identifiers where necessary.
5. Brand transition and implementation strategy
• Recommended approach for phasing out legacy logos and visual identities.
• Guidance for communicating brand changes to internal stakeholders.
• Identification of priority areas for implementation across digital platforms, marketing materials, and official communications.
6. Trademark support
• Providing guidance on trademark eligibility and best practices for protecting institutional brand assets.
• Assisting the university in preparing documentation necessary to pursue trademark registration.
• Coordinating with the university and its legal counsel, as applicable, regarding trademark application requirements.
• Providing recommended trademark usage guidelines to ensure proper and consistent use of the registered mark.
